Is this really for free? Is there any catch?

First: You can delete your account at any time. Try it: register, login and delete your account, it's easy.

Second: Yes, services on Jobitems are completely free. You can post as many jobs as you need. There are no limits.

Finaly: I love web programming. This is not my first server I'm running for free. There is also jobmania.sk running 2 years for free or inzos.sk (classifieds) running 1 year for free. These sites generate income thanks to Google Adsense, so I have enough money to pay for domains and hosting. Some people are smoking or paying for other things, they love :) much more than me for running these sites.

However, are there some paid services?

NO. Althought it's possible, that in the future I may create paid service, like bulk upload or something like "Premium" jobs, regular jobs will be always for free. If you want to be charged, you should use services of other web sites.

If you really like Jobitems and you want to support it, you can help me with link on your site, talk about it to your friend or partnering company, or write an article on your blog.

Who can use your services?

These services are intended to job seekers and any regular company looking for employees. Site doesn't accept freemail accounts, so do not use them. Not all freemail servers are on my blacklist, but from time to time I add a new one, so it is growing.

How do I get started?

First you need to fill and submit Sign up form, then check your inbox for verification e-mail. You need to click on link in the message body to confirm your registration. If everything goes well, your account becomes active and you will be able to login to your account using your e-mail address and password. After successful login you are redirected to the page with "Post New Job" form. Fill the form and submit it. Your job is available to job seekers immediately.

What can I do with my jobs?

Jobs are divided into two groups. Active and Archived. Active jobs are shown to job seekers. Archived jobs are inactive and visible only for you. You can do any of the following action with Active job record: edit, update, move to archive or delete it forever. You can do any of the following action with Archived job record: edit, update, activate or delete it forever. By "activation" is ment, the job gets new date of creation so it is displayed in the begining of Recent Job list as a New Job. You can update Archived job before or after activation, as you wish.

I lost my password.

If you lost or forgot your password, you need to generate a new one. System hashes your password using md5 php function so it is not possible to send you original password. Please go to the login page, fill out text box in the sidebar and click on button. Check your inbox for e-mail with a new password.
